After having spent over ten years as a Freelance Reader and Talent Spotter for a leading London Literary Agency, Conville and Walsh, I have now set up my own consultancy, offering a unique range of services to emerging authors, to help them develop their manuscripts to the point where they can submit to either agents or publishers, with real prospects of success.

You may feel you are ready to submit your manuscript to agents or publishers, but possibly lack confidence in your work; or you may have been rejected several times already by the publishing world, probably without any feedback on why your manuscript has been rejected. Then this is where I may be able to help.
I specialize in adult fiction, including teen fiction, but do not have the background to deal with fantasy, sci fi or children's illustrated books. I can also advise on non fiction proposals having had some success in this genre over the years.

David is that rare thing in the literary world, a facilitator who knows the business inside out, but who has managed to retain his qualities as a human being.Once he has begun working with you on your book, he will automatically become a friend. From being an author writing in isolation, and often in despair, you will have found a companion on the journey who cares about the book as much as you do - Lynn Bushell, Painted Ladies Sandstone Press , Feb. 2019 On sale at all good bookshops......and Tate Modern
